I'm doing fine standing in line!

I am really doing fine; Though I am still standing in line
Frustrating thoughts invade my mind- as I pass the time
My body is standing but my heart is busy flipping
What to do when I make it to the front-keeps me tripping
The line slowly gets shorter -one person at a time
Words stumble for clarity- now there are thoughts sublime
As I stop- look straight ahead- suddenly smile-
I'm at the front- now it's my time!
I'm rewarded after standing in line!
