Words
I crave words.
Thick, lurid, tangy on the tongue,
Words
I thirst for information.
Definition, connotation, revelations,
Words
Knowledge, experiences
laced between lines,
filling empty spaces.
Free flowing words,
like fine wine
wet on my lips
Words
Companions in the night.
Fire for the cold
Beautifully brutal,
Painfully pretty,
Hopes, passions, fears,
plastered onto pages.
Words
I crave words.
