sadness

we are not alone in this sadness
  though at times it seems there is no gladness
we spin out of contol with such fury
  our emotions and motions in such a hury

but then, a miracle happens, and we are content
  with usefulness rather than being euphorically bent

and we forget that we are wallowing in self pity
