I Did This For You.......

You walked alone in the rain
after school
filled with the shame.
How could you have been so cruel?

You broke my heart,
You broke my face.
Right from the start,
I was counting down the days.

You used me.
I still hung on.
You abused me.
And you broke the thread i dangled from.

I loved you.
I made you my everything.
Then i lost you.
And i was left with nothing.

In your hand you held my world.
And you crushed it into your fist.
My emotions were swirled.
I was too broken to be pissed.

You turned on the TV.
A few days had gone by.
You turned to the news and saw me.
I had commited suicide.

I lay on my bed.
My wrists slit.
The suicide letter read,
"This is it...."

It read,
"Brad, I did this for you".
That was all it said.
My life was overdue.
