Written for my mother, Jennifer.
She rides through golden fields of forever,
atop a silver dappled mare.
Through landscapes drawn of joyful memory
and times of little care.

Her trail is clear and traced in sunlight
and warmth from those she loved.
Though it takes her far she is always near us,
giving guidance from above.
