Contest enteries!

These are items I have entered in contests while here.

Mainly I enter contests to open up when I am dealing with writers block.

Those in their own folders are contests I enter regularly. Those not in a folder were one time things or the contest closed for one reason or another.


This way! OR That way!

Their is always a down side.
Here money is hard to come by.
Time on the other hand, comes in abundance.

Their was a time,for me it was much different.
I use to spend my days, rushing to and fro.
Never a moment for myself.
To just stop and sniff the flowers.

Now I sit and watch the roses grow.
Day by day they show more color.
I watch them from moment one.
Til darkness sets upon .

While wishing for just one more day, of the never stopping flow.
If I had only known what the days would bring.
Then we all experience life this way.
Never knowing whats around the bend.

Oh how things should have stayed.
Things are different now.
I must accept the clocks reset.
I have all the time, I wished for NOW.

If I only had a way to spend this useful day.
Making money not just words.
Then maybe this is whats meant to be.
You never know what tommorrow might bring.
