Dreamings

Short and sweet, my ED.

Darkness falls,
Shadows reign.
I lie here wanting. . .
needing sleep to come.

So hungry,
So tired.
This trembling, shaking body
refuses to give in.

Too hungry to sleep,
Yet too tired to eat,
When will this nightmare end?
