Loneliness
such a sickly sweet word
it drips with the bitter taste of failure
and is filled with hate
it consumes us
sucking out our insides
like the fly on the spiders web
there's no escape
no cure for the cause
it fill us with dread as it looms overhead
threatening like the thunder cloud
yet serene like the oceans great
loneliness will take you over
you cant escape
so close you eyes and drift on.
