Let Me See

Lost in my desperation,
I'm not sure what to do.
It seems that You've broken Your promises,
And Your Word ahs become untrue.

I feel as though You've forgotten me,
Simply because You can;
I feel as though You, my Father,
Have taken away Your hand.

Where once You led me with joy,
As I counted all but loss,
Not it seems You've decided I'm not worthy
Of Your paying such a high cost.

So, through Heaven-led eyes,
lord, please help me to see
That though it seems I'm all alone,
You're still abiding in me;

And even in this tribulation,
Where night becomes darkest night,
You are still leading me gently
With Your everlasting Light.

Help me, Lord, not to be,
So blind that I refuse to see
The way that You are softly leading
Me to comple victory.
