A Parent's Prayer

I will learn more than I can teach.
I will appreciate the smallest detail.
My patience will be lost, but humor will be found.
I will love unconditionally knowing,
there will be times I won't receive the same in return.
My life will be chaotic yet,
I will be grounded by responsibility.
I am blessed, never regretting a moment,
no matter what the outcome.
May I always have the courage to
stand strong by the difficult challenges each day will bring.
May I be understood when any of the above just don't apply!
