My name is Jessica, woohoo! I know, boring stuff. Well, here are more important things you should know about me.

I am 34 years old, and was born on July 4, 1989. My astrological sign is cancer and follow the definition exactly; I am moody, sensitive, caring and quiet. I'm short (4'10) and I have medium length dark brown hair, that I'm trying to grow long again. I also have brown eyes, which people say is my best feature. I am mostly of Eastern European heritage, but I am also Irish. I have really pale skin; I can't be out in the sun long and I prefer not to be out long anyway... sunburn = skin cancer = the devil. I live in the suburbs of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania with my mom, dad and my cat Gizmo. Although at the end of March, I'll be moving to Bridgeport with David, his friend, and his dad. I'll have two new cat sisters: Natasha and Lucy. I work as a page at the local library and full-time at the County; I take my jobs very seriously and I love my jobs with every fiber of my being. I graduated with a degree in English Writing with a minor in philosophy and electives in Arabic at West Chester University, where I also worked as a writer in an office, in December 2013.

*Hobbies and strange things about me*

I am obsessed with scrapbooking and photography. I love scrapbooking every event I attend and moments with my boyfriend, David. Sometimes David helps me scrapbook too. I love Civil War history and learning more about it. I also love history- I live and breathe it. Other areas in history I'm interested in is World War II, German, Norwegian, and American history. I also speak German, Arabic and French. I'm almost fluent in German, but not yet Arabic, it's still a middle school level, but I plan to be in the next five years. I love learning languages and hope to put that love into children's books. I probably don't strike you as much of a sports person, but I'm a HUGE Ravens fan, I love the whole team and association; they really care about the fans and community. I am a football girl at heart. I also roller skate and ice skate. I love listening to music, drawing, scrapbooking and other creative things.

I joined Writing.com on February 24, 2006. I fell instantly in love with the site; I loved the features it offered and the members were great when it comes time for useful criticism. The Writing.com community has to be one of the nicest group of people I've ever met and talked to; they are very respectable, caring, generous and just overall wonderful. This section will offer you a chance to look at my favorite pieces and my favorite authors via this site. I am also posting my works; comments are welcomed and encouraged.

iKïyå§ama . I met Kiya about a month or so after I joined this site. I commented one of her stories (or she commented one of mine; can't remember exactly) and we started to talk. Kiya is a very talented writer, and her status (and how quickly she moved up) on Writing.com proves that. She is also very kind and generous; I can't also forget fun. JudyB . Judy was like a second mother to me. Sadly, she passed away from Leukemia on January 31, 2010. I have no idea where I would be with out her, especially with her support and advice. She was a strong woman and failure was not in her repertoire; she's one of my heroines. I really admired her hard work and dedication to her family and friends.
