Healing Angel


Let me be Your Healing Angel, oh Lord
Let me dry away tears and soothe their hearts
Let me speak words to remind them
Of their loved ones.
Let me send them precious memories
Of happier times.
Let me take my hand and heal their scars
The scars that they've gotten from life.
Let me become a healing power
And be able to heal their wounds
To heal those with poor unfortunate souls.
Let me turn those gray skies to blue.

Let me be Your Healing Angel, oh Lord
Let me have Your hand and Your spirit
Let me show to them that they can have faith
And that they can have pride and courage
Let me guide them from wrong to right
And let me spread the Word - Your Word.

I want to be your Healing Angel
I want to brush away their tears
And tell them not to fear You
Tell them that You love them
And You will always love them.

Let me bring to You; Your children
The Lost Lambs that strayed from Your fields.
Let me guide them to the Fountain
For them to drink Your blood
And become a part of You
Let me show them the Way
Let me show them the pain You suffered
Surely they'll see; and ask for Your forgiveness.

Let me be Your Healing Angel, oh Lord
For I hate to see Your people cry.
I want to show to them the Love
That You have given to me
And let them see
That they too, can have Your Love.
Don't let them suffer anymore, Lord.
It's time for peace and purity.
They are begging, pleading and grovelling to You
Can't You hear them?

Let me be the Healing One...
I'll help* them see Your Way...
Give them a chance
Show to them that You still care
That You will forgive them all for their sins.

Just let me be Your Healing Angel
Let me be Your servant
I will follow in Your Footsteps
And pass on the Love You've given to me
And show it to the World
With a little help from You...
