Yesterday my friend said I talk like a black girl
She said it was funny and cute
I laughed, even though it wasn’t funny,
I laughed that fake little laugh I always laugh
When people say that shit
What else could I do, they don’t understand
They can’t understand, or at least that’s what mamma used to say
