Debt

I wish this was the last letter I would have to write.
    I wish I wouldn't have to fight.
    I wish I wasn't torn or broken.
    I wish I could smile and be open.
    I wish I didn't hate.
    I wish I wouldn't cry.
    I want this pain to go away.
    Sometimes I wish that I would just die.
    With every tear I shed, I feel my soul has bled.
    For all the things that mattered.
    All my dreams are shattered.
    For all the love I had.
    It left me feeling so sad.
    I watched it all go up in flames.
    But I'm the only one to blame.
    I should have been better.
    I could have been better.
    For all the mistakes I ever made.
    I hope my debt will soon be payed.
