Eight Foot Tall Invisible Man

It's not easy being an 8ft. tall Invisible Man

My hat and glasses look absurd
High upon a head unseen
The long coat appeared to float
To those who passed me by


It was the night of Halloween
Walking blindly door to door
Facing people, without a face
To collect my yearly treats


As I made it up the street
I started such a hubbub,
With Ghouls and ghosts and traffic 
Viewing what they could not see


It’s so not easy being eight feet tall
Ducking through the doorway
What’s harder is not being seen at all
While collecting Halloween candy
