Disconnected Happiness

fleeting happiness escapes her
they say it is from the family that raised her
they had no savior
besides a false reality
and that failed her
she looks to the world for transcendence
never knowing what is sure
for the world lies
life breathes not on the surface
it flourishes inside
In the heart and the mind
she searches the world
for something she can never find
she purchases a moment
to satisfy a time
and ends up spent
left without a dime
lost in a world
that will never pacify
it was a nice pass of life
she almost found herself
but she gave a feeble try
