I'm just sitting here on my sofa
Not knowing what to do
I'm on the edge of my seat
Thinking about you.

Your smile makes me smile
your eyes so bright and blue
and when you look into my eyes
I just don't know what to do.

You take my breath away
with just a simple glance
and when you talk to me
my heart does a little dance.

You are my friend,
yet the bane of my existance.
I shouldn't feel the way I do
but I have no resistance.

You treat me really bad
and I deserve better
yet all I really want
Is to write you a love letter.

I love your general presence,
the way you make me feel,
I want to spend more time with you,
I wish I'd got a better deal.
