Acrostic poem, for Mystery Prompt Contest (a mystery prompt that changes monthly) |
| Household hums with boisterous cheer Ambience of expectation Partying not the main rule here. Please the Lord to bless everyone You led us safe through troubles past. Now we give thanks, with bowed head pray. Each one shall toil until the last, Will you cast light upon the way? Yea Lord, we’ll strive just that much more, Ever learning to be better, And not repeat mistakes of yore, Reading your Word, every letter. Tetrameter, with eight syllables per line, and rhyme scheme of ababc dcd efef An Acrostic Poem for Mystery Prompt contest. (The prompt changes each month and can be anything at all, hence the mystery.) |
