Dear dear me what can I see
A little dog in front of me
His eyes lit up when I call to him
I wonder what's his name is it John or Jim
" Have you lost your way",
" You poor poor soul"
Do they know you're out here
All alone and cold
You can come with me
I'm on my way home
I haven't very much
But you're very welcome
To share what I have
To make you feel at home
Tonight you will know
You will never be alone
The little dog with his eyes so bright
Found him a home that very night
