The Box

I had a dream
That there was a stream
On the stream was a box
Guarded by a fox

The treasures it holds
I do not know
I open it and find coal

But from coal comes diamonds
Which shows there is beauty in every little thing
everyone should remember this classic phrase

given to them by their boyfriend
in respect to their commitment
of love a bond like cement

together man and woman
in a bond more then human
is pure and more than infatuation

deep love never ends
it never descends
true love is like a diamond it never breaks

love hides the bad
and prevails when life is sad
it hides the worst of things
it's sweet what love brings

it also hides the ugly
love keeps a couple snugly
it keeps the cool moments fun

at other times it can bring two people closer
bringing two minds together makes a couple wiser
two love birds die together but the love goes on into paradise
