PROMISE

we made a promise that we need to keep

our relationship has sunk really deep

we need to recover what ever we had

if not i know i'll be very sad

i might not have been your best friend

but i don't want this relationship to end

our promise means the world to me

i locked it up and threw the key

you told me you want an oppertunity to try

while you do that i'm willing to sit by

i'm willing to wait for you to come back

to give our relationship what it lacks

i love you with all my heart

even though we're so far apart

i know everything will go our way

so we can give everyone something to say

i'm so proud of you for trying to succed

and that you want to be a part of us to lead

we needed time away to think things over

maybe you'll feel better to live life sober

the things you wsed to do hurt our family

and maybe sobriaty will set us free

the only thing that would make me cry

is to find out everything you've said is a lie

i care to much about you

to find out it's not true

wf all of this would be fake

you would kill me for heavens sake

you'd break my heart forever

and we'd never be able to be together

i know you're honest about what you say

that is why you went away

to work on everything you want for us

and we hope noone will make a fuss

but being human there is  still a doubt

and thinking about it makes me shout

we both miss you so very much

and i can't wait to feel your touch

to lay beside you everynight

without either of us causeing a fight

i  miss the kisses you give to me

so that i can give you the key

i miss everything about you

i miss us being two

one day we'll be together again

and that's when our life will begin

we'll have to prove to everyone

that we're a husband, a wife and a son

remember i love you with all my heart

and because of that we'll never be apart
