WINTER

Winter is here at last
Last night a ice storm hit
The ground is like glass
All of the flowers got bit

The deer tries to walk
They fall and slide
The bear is asleep and isn't talking
The otter goes for a ride

The wolf don't dare try it
Bobcat goes out and slides back
The deer stands back under the trees and watches his rack
Birds are having a fit

The squirrels stay in the trees
Eagles circle around watching for a tree to land on
One sure thing right now
Everything's frozen right to the bone
