| "Blackfoot Pride" Etched upon his face I see mine, like so many furrows, across fields of time. Upon his shoulders is strength, hard rock mountains, and a strong inner faith. Like my grandfather who handed down this seed, generations removed, but all still believed. And in my bloodline my heritage plays, like a warrior son, like a warrior brave. An eagle calls me from on high, with my hand in the air, and my fist in the sky. I am a proud American Native, and with a smile, I'll tell you who made that. Thank the Great Spirit for my grandfather. 99 words |
