A World Without Sun

Darkness surrounded us
Or maybe what was left of us

The sun remained hidden
Where it had been since,

Well since we decided to hide it.

Thinking we were better off in the darkness
We resisted the warmth
Never realizing it was all we had
To keep us alive.

Now we struggle to survive
In the Death we created

In the misery of the desicrated.

Our world like our souls left in misery and cold.
In the movies we blamed the machines,
In reality we are the cause

And ironically the effect,
Is the same
