Lyrics/Poem: Sometimes even the most independent woman need touch
Put your palms on the small of my back.
Hold me close.
Hold me tight.

Part your lips on the nape of my neck.
Let me feel your warm sweet breath before you bite.

Tilt my chin so our mouths fit just right.
Push the hair back off my cheek so you can see my eyes just right.

Put your palms on the small of my back.
Hold me close.
Hold me tight -
Tonight.

I don't want to sleep alone.
I feel the need for touch sometimes though I like to be on my own.

My hair is getting gray and I'm getting much to old to say
my age.

And I still don't want to sleep alone in this bed tonight.

Drag your fingers down my back.
Indulge yourself, give me a little smack.

Kiss the backs of my knees.
Won't you please? Won't you please...
Roll me over, roll me under,
Make me scream like thunder.

Just don't leave me here in this bed alone tonight.

And with the morning sun
Your duty can be done.
Leave quickly.
Leave slow.
I'll say nothing when you go.
I don't want coffee.
I don't need you to call or write.
I'm not looking for a wedding ring-
Just a man to spend the night.

Please.
Put your palms on the small of my back.
Hold me close.
Hold me tight.
Just
for
tonight.
