If Clocks stoped

         What would happen if all the clocks on Earth stopped?
         The bottom line is that it would be horrible there would be mass chaos and pandemonium. There would be very little concept of time apart from the sundials. Eventually peace would be slowly restored but not for a while.
         There would be riots and looting on a massive scale as large angry mobs roamed the city streets and destroy anything that dared to step into its gigantic path. Nothing or no one would be safe. I assume school attendance would go down because without alarm clocks to wake students up they wouldn't wake up on time (and half of the kids wouldn't go to school anyways). Everyone would be late for work because their clocks were perpetually stuck on the flashing 12:00 am.
         TV networks would have their schedules torn to scraps until a solution to their clock problems. The sundial would be the only 100% reliable means of telling time so sundial sales would rise sharply. Finally everything would slowly go back to normal.
