Entwined in Dance



I put my finger to your lips, so supple and so warm,

Draw you close and show you love in its purest form.

Lost within your incredible gaze, I drink deep mesmerized,

Unable to escape the persona living behind your eyes.

Longing to be a part of you, for however long you wish.

To see you walking up to me, with a smile and a tender kiss.

To share special moments with you, ward off all your fear,

To listen to all your concerns, intently and truly care.

To walk with you in moonlight, in starlight and sun.

Take you to the ends of the earth, just to hear that i am the one.

I step back and consider how spoiled you would be,

If you would just open up and share yourself with me……


As I pull your hair back away from your face,

Your eyes flicker of that special place,

Where for a moment in time maybe by chance,

Our souls did meet and were entwined in dance.
