A Good Night?

A tone of dark shade fills the sky,
The Moon settles and stars shine,
The Creatures that lurk are now all out,
Under your bed,
In your closet,
Behind your door,
Or maybe even wait in the tub just for you,
Sleep?
But how must one sleep with such Creatures that lust for fear and stray through the night,
A Bed only seeming right,
A Blanket and pillows and you brand new night light,
Read a book, Count Sheep, watch TV or simply stare at the walls till you are no longer able to peak,
Moans, groans, screams, screeches and Yells of inhuman sounds,
with only a blanket and your new night light
Sleep Well Tonight?
A good Night?
neither exist anymore,
even with your band new night light
