Remembrance

She slips by. Quiet and content. Unaware of what this has been.

Looking on into all of it, giving away every inch of this.

Let it go. Dont let me know. Im in the dark and moving slow.

Take it from me, and hold it close. Im letting it go.

What do we have but want for this?

In time no more will I exist.

My lungs collapse, my wrists are slit.

If I give up, this is it.

I wont come back to where I've been.

I wont give in to personal sin.

Im leaving now, I've already left.

Cant see her face, hear words she said.

So sick now...cant breathe in.

I'll never live alone again....

Within me lives an eternity

Of everything I cannot be.

Will I remember.........
