Love Endures

I wrote this for a friend who wanted something special for his Lady.

One at a time, the years go by
And we are still together strong
With all the hearts that are out there
It is only to yours that I belong.

We were but kids then, when first we met
Everything so new and full of love
But we’ve stood the test of time and fate
And have what others only write of.

Our future is yet unwritten
But in this I am secure
Together we shall write it
Because together we will endure
