moonlight frosts ivory coat shimmer’d
in rippled movement, supple, lithe
alive, so alive, pale piercing eyes
brimming with wisdom, sadness
defender of Dark powered by Faith
Seeker of Light

silver shadow o’er ebony base
sheathed power emblazoned passion
barely contained silent rage
holder of all that is strength
defender of Light powered by Faith
Seeker of Dark

I call your names, true
Thor and to you Athena
by your pleasure, run with me
drift by moonlight past
ancient forest ‘neath stars
blinking faintly to reflect
the passing of your feet
the heartbeat within
pacing the rythym
stealing time from gods
unaware of magnificence
in their sleep

Ahhh our breath runs hot
our paws yearn gurgling cool water
ahead from icy mountain stream
to quench the heat
slake the thirst
soothe our pads in need
thrilled tonque in motion
ice water accents white hot blood
now exquisitely pounding


hammered beat of closeness
yes…there is the one
soft muzzle touches offered hand
recognizes with bent neck
ooohhhh coat parts in pleasure
before gentle fingers delivering
soul touches forever and ever
bonds forged in iron-silk for all

he raises muzzle majestically and declares
to the gods now awake
..she is one with us….
silver tongue joins in joy,  affirms
what frail human mind once shied from
brethren, protector, kindred spirit
finally joined by purelight voice
acceptance, love, delight, honour

black voice stills and when silence reigns down
pale eyes deliver the unseen measure of thought
tonight we hunt, we shall bring Light into Dark
