Eddie's cheeks had burned with anger.  So he couldn't do twelve-figure math in his head - big deal.  That's why 'puter ports are everywhere.  Upload, download - done!  No reason for Janosz's comment, "Sorry - forgot: fourth-Gen kid."  Well, I can do other stuff; neat stuff, like...
