Writer's Paralysis

This is a sad poem in which a girl is affected with writer's paralysis

She feels wrung out

however hard she tries

words don't come out

they run dry.



Flurry of thoughts

come in her mind

urging her to write

but she falls short of words.



Her pent-up emotions she wants

to depict on paper

with the help of her

creative mind but

words evade her.



Tears roll down her cheeks

she wants to exorcize

her deep-rooted melancholy

but her writing paralysis

overwhelms her.
