Woman decked in tawdry necklace

Watching car-race

Deeply engrossed

Attention lost.



The necklace became a gimmick

A thief planned trick

Snatched her necklace

Fled at fast pace.



She jerked and ran behind faster

Took steps longer

at last she caught

a win she brought.
