A Change is Coming

A change is coming,
I can feel it all around
The wind whispers words to me
A low and soulful sound

Footsteps of Ya’-n’-s-si’
Thunder growing in the sky
We seek you in our dreams
We yearn for peace inside

A change is coming
We must watch for signs
The glimmer in the stars
The birth of buffalo child.

The ninth one born
Coat as white as snow
The promise of another chance
to walk the good red road.

A change is coming
I can hear it in the pines
The voice of others like me
Seeking balance in their lives

That Ya’-n’-s-si’ lives here now
Forever will she grow
Inside a people needing peace
Inside each seeking soul.
