Looking at the night sky
Arousing emotions I usually hide
The full moon stirs me

I feel akin to this sphere
The perfection of its size
The glow warms my spirit

I stand and raise my arms
Paying homage to its glow
I let my shift slide to the ground

A pagan dance I start
No one is around
A breeze starts up caressing

I stare up at its brightness
Tears gather in my eyes
I yearn to hold a lover

I lay on the grass depleted
As beams of light glide over
I feel less alone, gifted in some way
