Adalie Carter grew up knowing about vampires. She was always taught that some are good and some are bad, she was taught their inner secrets that humans arent supposed to know. But when her mother was killed by a rouge vampire, she swore that she would not let the vampires come across the fence. Now at the age of 16 and living with her uncle Nick, she searches for the pieces of the key racing with a group of Vampires who want to set everyone on the Vampire's side free to have their revenge. Along the way Adalie meets Stratton, the vampire who is racing with her to the peices, and he reveals to her another world about the Vampires and he shows her about her past, and the father she never knew...
