Thoughts On The Beach

Step into the water,

let the waves come to my knees,

my hair is a light color brown,

it is blowing in the breeze.


I get a little deeper,

as I walk out into the sea,

I can't help but thank you God,

for sharing this with me.


I come out of the water,

lay my towel down in the sand,

the sand is very warm and white,

I let it run through my hand.


People all around me stare,

as I begin to dance,

but I really do not care,

because you gave me such a chance.


The sky is blue and clear,

the sun is shining bright,

the water is such a pretty blue,

the scenery is such a sight.


The palm tree branches blowing,

the birds up in the sky,

would it be a sin,

to simply ask you why?
