A Poem of Lasting Hope!

A FATHER'S LOVE!


I wish that I could sum it up.
I wish that there were words,
But there are not words
Enough, to describe - A Father's love.

I wish that all could see.
I wish that all could know,
What I have come to know.
For no other thing compares,
As this does - A Father's love.

I have swum to the depths of my soul.
I have embraced each sin that man can know.
And I have brought disgrace
To every decent thing,
Until there seemed no hope for me.

But still there was one hope for me.
That hope of ages.
That hope of generations.
The hope of everlasting grace,
For all willing to embrace,
The FATHER's love.
