My GOD!


Raise me up, embrace me, love me,
As only YOU can, my no beginning
And unending - GOD.

Take me, shape me, make me,
Better than I am, or have ever been,
Or thought to be, my all seeing and
All knowing - GOD.

Guard me, guide me, protect me and
Never, never, never let me yield
To life’s cares and fears, lover of all things
And all of us, my always loving - GOD.

Even when I do not know how, or whom,
Or what, to reach out to, reach out to me
Giving me what I most need.
And love me for what I now am,
No matter what it is I’ve been - GOD.

Amid all pain or suffering,
Beyond all loss or anything,
Give the hope, comfort, peace,
Only you bring.
YOU who always have and will be – my GOD.
