A Red Rose and Thorns





HEAVEN AND THE ROSE!


Why must the rose have thorns?
If it could be claimed without effort,
Would the rose still seem a treasure?

Why must the road to heaven be long?
None should really need to ask,
Knowing the truth of the rose’s thorns!
