A chance meeting with an old flame reignites the fire.
Chance Encounter

The wife gone for the weekend and I was on my own.
Sports filled up my days but the nights were all alone.
It was at the grocery store that I saw her in the aisle.
I was admiring her backside when she turned, with a smile.

She said "You haven't changed since we were in high school."
I just grinned and tried hard not to seem a fool.
It took me just a moment to remember her name
though it came easily. She was my high school flame.

I glanced and saw that her left hand didn't sport a ring
and I had a moment's fantasy about a one-night fling.
"Care to join me for a glass of wine?" she said with a wink.
"Why not," I said, "what's the harm in just one drink?"

From a chance encounter to later in the night
yielding to our passions – no concern for right.
She found a place within my arms, her body pressed to mine
and we lost all inhibitions as we lustfully entwined.

Gone were all pretenses as our clothes were ripped away.
We sought a lovers' union as our bodies began to sway
with deep and delving kisses that move from neck to breast
and downward into pleasure as our passions crest.

Every inch of her skin had a taste that was unique
as we found our pleasures – there was no need to speak.
I enter her with my tongue as the lock embraces the key
I could not contain my moan of joy as her mouth encircled me.

This was not an act of love, it was wild and unrestrained.
It was our basest natures finally unchained.
I entered her and begin to move no longer in control
as we achieved orgasm we felt it in our souls.

In breathless satisfaction, we finally pulled apart.
Somewhere in the darkness, I heard her pounding heart.
I reached out and touch her, not wanting it to end
and as I lay there with her, I felt the night close in.

I woke up in the morning light – was it all a dream?
Were my rapturous visions more than what they seemed?
I reached out with lonely hands and pulled the pillow next to me
and I found a remnant of perfume - the scent of fantasy.
