The Goddess

How does she stand so graceful
When I'm barely in control
Breath catches in my throat
Heart from my chest is stole

Thoughts of my mind invaded
Dream her, awake asleep
I lay all I am before her
And pray that she will keep

A goddess moves amongst us
We exist for just a look
Nature frames her presence
The ground beneath is shook

Her beauty hangs like art
In the galleries of my soul
Every move a perfect stroke
A sacred ancient scroll

A radiance so brilliant
as if the sun above
Life and death hold nothing
A void without her love
