In my own shell

I need to stand up and show the world what I've got

For a long time I have been inside my shell

I try to break it but its too hard

I try harder but nature won't allow

I try and try but nothing happens



For a long time I have been inside my shell

I want to see the outside world

But all I see is plain darkness

I long to see something

I must try



For a long time I have been trapped inside my shell

All my opinions and ideas unheard

I shout it out but no one hears

I know I want to be heard

I must persevere



For a long time I've been inside my shell

All my talents stays undiscovered

I show it but only the thin air watches

I want to be appreciated

I must act!



It's way too long

I'm getting impatient, I want to get out!

But It's all just a matter of time

At last I'm out!

Now I'll show the world a bloomer in me!
