Winter of My Faith

Spiritual vs Intellectual but not quite philisophical...or is it?

History on a story board...Murals in the hall.
Winter waits for my personal surrender.
It takes a number of years
placed end to end
to make a chain
strong enough to pull me
through a life
cluttered with so many winter ghosts.

Words are not so expensive
that I should
pinch them so tightly.
Should the talent be true
and soundly grounded
I will never have to go without
the meal of language
for a single day.

Just opening the gates
and allowing the screams to flow
will guarantee the process
will never lie fallow.

The release that comes with the
knowledge of unlimited resources
is the very definition of faith.
Editors are the governors
on the engine known as authorship.

Am I to limit my output
in any measure
for anyone?
I will splatter, splay and spoil
the walls
of the palace called, "Reason,"
thoroughly.
