Fox's Run

The bugel sounds
and the dogs charge
A fox scampers
from the sounds of the hounds.
He flees his den in fear of the
teeth and claws on his tail.

He crosses the stream,
jumps a log, and tries to
avoid the treachorous roots
that seem to spring
out of nowhere and
try to cause his fall.

Adrenalin filled and pushed on by fear
the fox sees a hole in a tree and
runs for it to find shelter
then from nowhere a
hound jumps from the brush
and pounces the vulpine.
The beast growls
and brings his claw
down to the fox's chest.........

"Tag your it"

The hound pup
then gets up and
runs off on two legs.
The fox kit stands up
and smiles then
chases his friend through the forrest
loving this game.
