I sit here
Sublime is
Bringing the Bass

I wish I didn't have to lie to you
I wish we could read e.e. cummings
And you would nod knowingly
I wish my words were smaller
And my actions bigger

You search my eyes for things
I cannot provide
You search my thoughts while
I search your pockets

Beautifull words and lacy sentences
To unravel
Too pleasant to disturb
You're being apathetic and numb
and I'm scared of the
Outcomes

Like a burial
Of an ideal
Trolloping through the
Land of Geminis
A raging duality
Divided neatly
Like so many buttons

I want you to lick my tears from the floor
And dazzle me with the truth.
