A young Navy pilot struggles to make a good impression in his first squadron assignment

c.1965 - As the new guy in a Navy A-4 attack squadron, Ltjg. Cash Prize, fresh from flight training, wants to gain the respect of his squadron mates. But after a major screw-up on the weapons range, his C.O. threatens disciplinary action if he performs another bonehead maneuver. While flying night formation he is shaken by an unexplainable buffeting jolt which leaves his flight leader’s aircraft uncontrollable. Everyone assumes Cash is to blame and has caused a midair collision
