A story about a strange animal show and what followed atfter attending... |
I attended a strange animal show one day Saw the sight of a kitten and a pig in the hay I could see that the kitten was clearly confused, Nursing off this fat pig, I was more than amused Went back 6 weeks later to find the show gone But I saw a strange creature attempting a leap a the lawn, Possessing the head of a cat, curly tail, claws to pounce, But the body of of sow, ya couldn’t miss, no mouse! This creature would struggle so hard to run fast, But dragging his belly on the floor, for sure wouldn’t last I said excuse me, what’s your name? He said I’m Rosco as he held his head in shame I’m “Krostasha” and I was wondering if you could say Just what it is you are? That would make my day! He said, well my dad is a cat and my mom a sow, So what would that make me because I don’t know? As though lightning struck, it suddenly came to me Oh you’re one of those piggacats, can’t you see? Rosco asked with tears of joy, Are there more of me out there, for me to meet and enjoy? Yeah, you came out in 2008, Me 2009, isn’t that great! I said you have to search high and low, Check the corners of the universe, for this I know You’re like me Rosco, don’t you see? My mom is from Japan, my dad, Haiti, A Japahaitianese airfish, I’ve always been That’s why I swim through air and lightly I suspend Sure, we get strange looks, but why should we care? I’ll swim right beside you, ignoring any glare, We’ll travel the world together as one, And leave no sea unswum, or path undone But Rosco, ya might wanna go on a diet Dragging that belly on the ground would be quite a riot! Be it sand, or sea, or mountain or snow, There’s so much to see but we’d be moving too slow, He meoinked at me a few times with a grin, Then lifted gently off the ground and he too could swim! Through air above and beyond the clouds So we left on our journey and sure to draw crowds I thought I was special in every way, Till Rosco the piggacat airswam away, I swam after him and we traveled the earth Can you imagine what we’d conceive if we were to give birth? |
