I wrote this song as a joke for our school music teacher when he taught about the blues.

I threw it out the window when the ringing wouldn't stop.

I signed in at the office, and what did I see

A big stack of paperwork staring back at me

A lot of report cards and some IEP's

Don't forget the assessments that were due yesterday.

And that boring faculty meeting,

I just want to run away!

Iwent into my classroom and the kids went berserk

All because I told them to do their work

No one had their project or opened any books

They just stared at me blankly with that stupid confused look
